Color steel plate, despite the double protection of galvanized layer and organic coating on the surface of the steel plate, if it is in a humid state for a long time, the water accumulated on the surface (including water produced by condensation in the air) will gradually infiltrate through the organic coating, thus causing corrosion of the zinc layer under the film of the organic coating, so attention must be paid to it when it is stored:

(1) Not to be wet by water, stored indoors, avoiding open stacking.

(2) The room should be dry and ventilated, without corrosive gases, and must avoid being placed in a place that is prone to condensation as well as the big temperature difference between cold and warm. Forced to temporarily store outdoors, underneath must have a square sleeper for cushion wood, and pay attention to good ventilation, choose flat ground, cushion wood above should also be horizontal, to make the steel plate stacked at the same height, to prevent the occurrence of warping, the product above the cover with a rainproof cloth, protect the product is not directly affected by the sunshine and rain.

(3) If the color steel plate is subjected to rain or has condensation, it should be unpacked immediately and dried quickly to remove moisture and used as early as possible.

(4) The steel coil should be stored in the same condition as when it left the factory as far as possible, and should not be piled up, so as not to damage the coating.

(5) Color-coated steel plates should not be placed in sand, or dusty places. If sand and dust accumulate on the steel plate, it may damage the coating film of the coated steel plate. And sand, dust accumulation, will make the coating surface not easy to keep dry and become the root cause of corrosion.

(6) Long-term storage should be avoided, the use of first-in-first-out as a principle, to avoid long-term retention of the pollution caused by unused, bruises, as well as new and old products mixed with the appearance of small color differences, especially in the coastal and industrial atmosphere of the environment, it should be shortened storage period.

(7) To exclude moisture that for some reason is trapped on the surface of the steel plate in the package, the steel plate may be placed at an incline in the warehouse, with a suitable angle of inclination of 3.5 degrees.
