Due to the special requirements of the aircraft hangar, the upper space frame structure can only be supported by three sides, that is, the internal space is large, there is no column in the middle, and the door is completely open, which is convenient for aircraft parking and internal equipment layout. However, the roof structure is only supported on three sides, and the structural system is seriously asymmetrical; in order to adjust the structural rigidity to be uniform, a side frame structure is usually set at the gate. Also provides upper pivot for movable hangar doors.
