According to "Technical Regulations for Spatial Structure", the installation method of spatial structure should be comprehensively determined according to the type, stress, and structural characteristics of the structure, under the premise of ensuring quality and safety, in combination with schedule, economy, and technical conditions of the construction site. , there are 6 main types:

1) High-altitude bulk method. Use a crane or a hoist to hoist small units or rods for assembly at high altitudes. It is suitable for various types of spatial structures assembled with full supports, especially for bolted, pinned, and other non-welded connection structures.

2) Slitting or block installation method. The space frame structure is divided into strip-shaped units or block-shaped units and connected to a whole at high altitude, which is suitable for spatial structures with small changes in the stiffness and stress conditions of the structure after segmentation.

3) Slip method. It is suitable for various space frame structures that can set parallel sliding rails. First, set up a fixed working platform at one end of the space frame, and at the same time set up a sliding track on the axis of the space frame support position. After the installation of the frame is completed, it is especially suitable for the construction that must be spanned (the lower part of the roof structure to be installed is not allowed to erect a bracket or a walking crane) or the site is narrow, and the lifting and transportation are inconvenient.

4) Overall hoisting method. It is suitable for small and medium space frame structures.

5) Overall promotion method. After the structure is assembled on the ground as a whole, the derrick or lever and lifting power device, jack or hoist, etc. are used to lift it to the design elevation and in place, which is suitable for various spatial structures.

6) Overall jacking method. After the structure is assembled on the ground as a whole, it is lifted to the design elevation and placed in place, which is suitable for various spatial structures with few fulcrums.

7) Folding and unfolding integral lifting method. Fold and assemble on the ground or a working platform close to the ground, then lift the folded mechanism to the design elevation with lifting equipment, and finally make up the previously removed rods at high altitude to make the mechanism into a structure, suitable for cylindrical reticulated shell structures, etc.
